Mr Raymond Shorrocks

Mr Shorrocks has more than 30 years’ experience in corporate finance in the mining sector and has advised a diverse range of resources companies during his career at one of Australia’s largest investment banking and stockbroking/financial services firms.

He has been instrumental in managing and structuring equity capital raisings as well as having advised extensively in the area of mergers and acquisitions.

Mr Shorrocks has worked on mines in South America, Africa, Australia, and North America.

Mr Shorrocks was the founding Executive Chairman of Bellevue Gold Ltd. He is currently Interim Executive Director of Mitre Mining Corporation Ltd, Non-Executive Chairman of FireFly Metals Ltd and Galilee Energy Ltd, and a Non-Executive Director of Cygnus Metals Ltd and Hydrocarbon Dynamics Ltd.

Mr Didier Murcia

Mr Murcia holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia and has 35 years legal and corporate expertise in resources sector. 

Mr Murcia is the Non-Executive Chair of Centaurus Metals Limited, Chair of Perth law firm MPH Lawyers and the Honorary Consul for the United Republic of Tanzania.

In 2014, Mr Murcia was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his significant service to the international community.

Mr Russell Curtin

Russell Curtin has joined the Board of Alicanto as a Non Executive Director.


Mr Curtin, a former Partner at Ernst & Young, brings over 30 years of experience of energy, resources & assurance. He held leadership roles in energy, resources and climate change with responsibility for EY strategic direction and capability. He served EY major clients, such as Woodside and Santos, along with various multinational public and private companies, bringing a deep understanding of corporate finance, governance, control, and the importance of confidence capital markets.

His extensive experience makes him a valuable addition to the Alicanto Board

 

Duncan Grieve

BSc Geology (Hons) MSc Mining Geology

Appointed: 21 June 2024

Mr Grieve is a seasoned geologist with a track record of successful discoveries. 

He was part of the discovery and Resource drill out at the Bellevue Gold Project and has substantial project generation experience in gold, lithium, and base metals exploration across Africa, Australia, Europe and North America. 

Prior to that he worked with Barrick Gold at the Loulo Gold Mine in West Africa.

Ms Maddison Cramer

Ms Cramer is a corporate lawyer with experience in both the listed and unlisted space, advising entities across a variety of different sectors, but with a focus on mining and resources. 

She recently co-founded boutique corporate services business Belltree Corporate and is currently a company secretary at ASX-listed junior exploration companies FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX:AUT), Cygnus Gold Ltd (ASX:CY5), Bellavista Resources Ltd (ASX:BVR) and Midas Minerals Ltd (ASX:MM1). 

Prior to this, she was Joint Company Secretary at ASX300 Bellevue Gold Ltd (ASX:BGL) and was an Associate at Bellanhouse Legal and HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. 

Ms Cramer specialises in corporate and commercial transactions, including capital raisings, IPOs and backdoor listings, and corporate governance issues.

Ms Susan Field

Ms Field is a Chartered Accountant with over 27 years’ experience in the corporate sector and in public practice.

She has worked in several financial management roles in both the public and private sector.

Prior to entering public practice, Sue also spent over 11 years in the financial services and retail banking industry where she held various positions in several operational management roles.

Mr Erik Lundstam

Chief Geologist

MSc Geology

Appointed: 7 August 2020

Erik has over 25 years experience in greenfield, brownfield and mine production geology from a technical to a managing level.

His key focus has been on orogenic gold, porphyry copper-gold, VHMS, IOCG, skarn-limestone hosted Cu-Au-Zn-Pb-Ag and sedex-type deposits.

He is credited with six major discoveries in Sweden, including the discovery of the Garpenberg Extension which has significantly extended the life of that mine.
